Helping to heal broken hearts
Welcome! A little about me...
The quest of overcoming my personal losses whether it was my divorce or the passing of my parents was a great challenge for me. This required a deep and serious look within to acknowledge, understand and accept the fact that in life there are “situations” way beyond our control.
One thing which is certain during this process is that we can either “hold on” to the pain or move on and treasure the good memories. At times the loss of a loved one can be unexpected not only leaving a void in our life but a lack of closure.
I was drawn to the Grief Recovery Method searching for the tools to address the concerns of my clients in my spiritual practice. Once I attended the certification course, it became very obvious that I too had unresolved grief as a consequence of my recent divorce and underlying “situations” related to my childhood.
It was a wake-up call! Had it not been for the Grief Recovery Method I would not have understood the source of my pain, the reason why my “heart was broken” and all the “hang ups” that were such a big part of me. Subsequently, I was able to have full understanding of the pain I was living with which helped me to start the process of letting go and to apply the lessons learned to future situations in my life.
The process of inserting myself in a healthier “space” not only helped me to heal, but also made it possible for me to have a better knowledge and perspective to assist those in need of mending their own hearts as well. The experience I acquired over the years has become not only a very valuable tool in my own healing process, but it has allowed me to be of assistance to others to view their alternatives for healing with an open mind, a sense of liberation and ultimately regain their inner freedom. This is my Mission for The Method.
I am a Counseling Practitioner, Angel Therapist and my studies include a B.A. in Management and a Master in Business Administration.
Healing your Heart
Recovery from loss is accomplished by discerning all the underlying situations that we hold on to in our relationships. We are often advised to “Let Go” and “Move On” after losses of all kinds. Most of us don’t know how to start. The Grief Recovery Method® has been helping people feel better following a loss for over 40 years and the goal is to help your heart feel liberated and free again.
How can we work together...
The Method is not a cure all, but it is a tool kit that you can use for any and all losses, and any and all relationships for the rest of your life. It shall not be compared as therapy, but at the same time it has therapeutic benefits, but most of all, it is an educational program. You will learn about grief and understand the effects it has in our lives and a very loving and effective way.
